What is USA Auction Network?

USA Auction Network is a free directory of live and online auctions across the United States. We list auctions by state and category — equipment, real estate, farm, estates, and more — and link you directly to the auctioneer's official page to register and bid. We don't handle bidding or payments; we help you find the auction.

Is it free to use?

Yes. Browsing auctions, getting email alerts, and clicking through to register are all completely free for bidders. Auctioneers can also list their auctions free during our launch period.

How do online auctions work?

You find an auction, register on the auctioneer's bidding platform (usually free, sometimes with a card on file), inspect the lots via photos, descriptions, or a preview day, then place bids before the closing time. If you win, you pay your bid plus any buyer's premium and arrange pickup or shipping per the auctioneer's terms.

What is a buyer's premium?

A buyer's premium is a percentage fee added to your winning bid, paid to the auctioneer. For example, a $1,000 winning bid with a 10% buyer's premium costs $1,100 total. The premium is always disclosed in the auction terms — check it before you bid.

What does "sold as-is" mean?

It means the item sells in its current condition with no returns or warranty. That's why reading descriptions and attending inspection days matters. It's also part of why auctions offer real bargains for buyers who do their homework.

What is a soft close?

In many online auctions, a bid placed in the final minutes automatically extends the closing time by a few more minutes. This prevents last-second "sniping" and gives every bidder a fair chance to respond — so don't walk away as the clock runs down.

How do I list my auction on USA Auction Network?

If you're a licensed auctioneer, use our List Your Auction page to submit your details — it takes about two minutes, and listings are free during launch. Each auction gets its own page plus placement on the relevant state and category pages.

Do you handle bidding or payments?

No. Registration, bidding, and payment always happen with the auctioneer on their own platform. We're a directory — we point buyers to auctions and auctioneers, and everything from there is between you and the auction company.
